Action:
Aspergillus niger is a fungal microbe of great importance in the production of stomach support products. This mold is widely used in the production of citric acid and in the production of several enzymes such as amylases, pectinases and proteases.
Invertase in plants is essential not only for metabolism, but also helps with osmoregulation, development, and the immune system. In humans, the enzyme acts as an immune stimulator, as an antioxidant, antiseptic, and in some cases is beneficial in patients with bone or stomach cancer.
Pectinase acts on pectin and breaks the bonds between two galacturonic acids. As a result, its action is responsible for better digestion of fruits and vegetables. Pectinase is an enzyme that breaks down pectin, present in the walls of plant cells that make up fruits and vegetables.
Bromelain is an enzyme mixture found in pineapple. People use bromelain as a dietary supplement for a variety of health benefits, including relieving sinus problems, reducing inflammation, and improving digestion. Bromelain supplements are also known to help improve symptoms of osteoarthritis.
Anti-inflammatory effects – Along with reducing nasal inflammation in sinusitis, bromelain may also reduce inflammation elsewhere in the body.
Papain is a proteolytic enzyme extracted from the raw fruit of the papaya plant. Proteolytic enzymes help break down proteins into smaller protein fragments called peptides and amino acids. Papain is a popular folk remedy for reducing pain, inflammation, and swelling. It is also used to improve digestion and to treat infections, diarrhea, and allergies.
