Turmeric belongs to the Ginger family and is a herbaceous plant with broad leaves and pink-colored inflorescences.
Due to its unique dietary and medicinal properties , turmeric is one of the most valuable food, medicinal and dye plants of East and South Asia, which has actively entered the culinary and phytotherapy of the modern world.
The turmeric rhizome is rich in phytochemicals from different chemical classes. The main pharmacologically active substances in its composition are the phenolic compounds called curcuminoids I, II and III, and the combination of them and each one separately are called by the general name curcumin .
Each capsule of the Kurkuma Pure product provides an optimal dose of curcuminoids (curcumin) - approximately 90%.
The product Kurkuma Pure from the German company Barbel Drexel contains 100% pure, high-dose, highly bioactive turmeric root extract, patented as Curcugreen .
Curcugreen is a combination of curcumin with turmeric essential oil, enriched with 45% Ar-turmerone (active turmeric extract). It is a patent of Arjuna Natural.
