HOW AND WHY DOES IT WORK? The soluble drink VemoHerb® Bulgarian Tribulus Drink contains an extract of the Bulgarian herb Tribulus (Tribulus terrestris). This herb is also known by the folk names Babini zubbii, Kochi glavi, Trabuzan. It is well known in folk medicine and has been used in Bulgarian culture for centuries as an herb for vitality, increasing energy and libido.

Most imported products currently on the market contain extracts of Chinese and Indian origin, with a low concentration of active substance and practically no physiological effect.
The Tribulus terrestris extract of VEMO 99, included in VemoHerb® Bulgarian Tribulus Drink, contains a very high percentage of active substances, standardized to 60% furostanol saponins, defined as protodioscin. The specific bouquet of furostanol saponins in Bulgarian Tribulus terrestris has a pronounced positive effect on strength, muscle growth, lean body weight, sexual physiology. The main difference between the Bulgarian Tribulus terrestris extract and all the others is not only the high concentration of the saponin protodioscin, but also the high content of accompanying substances that modulate and enhance the effect of protodioscin.
In order for the main properties of protodioscin to manifest, the other furostanol saponins that make up the extract are of particular importance. They support the conversion of cholesterol into dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). It is assumed that DHEA helps slow down the aging process by being included in the normal steroid synthesis in the body, by supporting the conversion of free cholesterol into sex hormones. Thus, maintaining normal cholesterol levels is one of the functions of the active substances from the Tribulus plant.
