Total Body Marine Collagen contains the patented ingredient Collactive ™ (a 100% natural complex of marine collagen and elastin peptides in the same ratio found in human skin) in combination with hyaluronic acid, L-glutamine, L-tryptophan, vitamin C and biotin.
Collactive® marine unflavored fish collagen (from wild white fish skin) has the same ratio of collagen I and elastin oligopeptides (96% to 4%) as in human skin. It is water-soluble, lower molecular weight and more effective than beef or pork collagen – the required daily dose is about 2 g instead of 5-6 g. It is characterized by a skin moisturizing effect and helps to noticeably smooth wrinkles and unevenness in just 4 weeks. It enhances the synthesis of type I and II collagen in the joints and helps to improve mobility in osteoarthritis. The rich glycine content makes it an excellent supplement for muscles subjected to intense stress.
Hyaluronic acid helps retain moisture in the skin. It contributes to the hydration and elasticity of the skin and relieves pain and stiffness in the knee joint.
