Dietary supplement, 100 vegan capsules
Royal Jelly/Royal Jelly, 100 capsules , is a dietary supplement from the German company Karl Minck Naturheilmittel. The use of royal jelly as a dietary supplement and medicinal remedy dates back to Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece. People have used it since those times because of its exceptional health properties. Royal jelly supports the immune system, relieves premenstrual symptoms, has an effect on diabetes mellitus and has a beneficial effect on the work of all organs and systems in the human body.
Royal jelly is a protein substance secreted by the glands of worker bees. All bee larvae feed on royal jelly for the first few days of their lives. Queen bees eat royal jelly throughout their lives, which contributes to their physical dominance in the beehive.
Royal jelly typically contains about 60% to 70% water, 12% to 15% protein, 10% to 16% sugar, 3% to 6% fat, and 2% to 3% vitamins, salts, and amino acids. The exact composition of royal jelly varies depending on geographical location, season, and the types of flowers in the region.
The most studied active compound in royal jelly is called royalisin, a fatty acid with powerful antibacterial properties. Royal jelly contains 185 biologically active compounds. Hormones such as testosterone, progesterone, prolactin and estradiol have been identified in its unique nutritional composition. Royal jelly also contains flavonoids, which provide its antioxidant properties.
How does it work ?
Although chemically diverse, royal jelly works primarily through several mechanisms:
- Fights microbes and reduces inflammation in the body;
- Fights bacteria;
- Increases the body's antioxidant defenses.
Dietary supplements are the easiest way to take royal jelly by mouth for several reasons:
- offer the same dosage in one dose;
- have a longer shelf life;
- can be stored at room temperature;
- they are easy to accept.
