Action of the main ingredients :
Silymarin is the active ingredient in milk thistle seeds. The chemical compound has powerful anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective effects. Silymarin is actually a group of substances called flavonoids (silibinin, silidianin, and silichristin) that are believed to help repair liver cells damaged by alcohol and other toxic substances. It has membrane-stabilizing and antioxidant effects, promotes hepatocyte regeneration, reduces inflammatory response, and inhibits fibrogenesis in the liver.
Thiamine reduces the concentration of lipids within the liver, lowers blood sugar levels, and increases liver glycogen content.
- N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC)
N-acetyl-L-cysteine improves liver function in people suffering from non-alcoholic steatosis. NAC plays an important role in the body's detoxification process and has a powerful antioxidant effect on the entire body.
Lipoic acid, also known as α-lipoic acid, alpha-lipoic acid, and ALA, has a strong antioxidant effect on fatty liver.
